There is a reason why many seasoned French Pastry Chefs will privately tell you that their all-time favorite dessert is the Tarte Tatin! Such a simple dessert yes - but it's in the way you caramelize the apples! It's the simple rustic buttery pastry dough! It takes time to perfect this, but I must also proclaim, that this pie is utterly beyond compare. Serve it to your Guests warmed with a fine quality vanilla ice cream and watch them cry tears of disbelief as they finish it!
